Managing power projects, managing competence
Project management is the core competence of Thermax Power business. The Project Management Group seamlessly integrates the engineering and construction Interface – essential for completing power projects on time. This responsibility is executed keeping customer focus and satisfaction always at the forefront.
The group has advanced tools like MS Project and Primavera for systematic monitoring of schedules at various levels to ensure timely completion. The group is capable of handling more than 10 projects in parallel.
The project management group responsibility covers:
- Detailed Power project management, and unique network scheduling till the tertiary levels.
- Monitoring and following up with vendors, according to the schedules generated.
- Constantly monitoring risks associated with various power generation project activities and preparing recovery plans.
- Functioning as a single point of contact for all agencies including customers, internal divisions, and vendors.
- As individuals, all our project managers are technically competent, experienced and have knowledge of manufacturing and erecting different work packages, in power plants.
